I’m Aaron Crowe, owner of Cash Smarter.
I’m a personal finance freelance writer who writes about a variety of topics, including investing, saving, insurance, minimalism, frugality and how to increase your income.
My goal at Cash Smarter is to help people make smarter decisions about their finances so that they can stay out of debt, earn more money, and have more free time to enjoy the things in life that money can and can’t buy. It’s a lofty goal, I know, but one that I’ve reached in part by working less and setting priorities of what’s important.
If you want to keep doing what you’re doing, or are looking for a personal finance blog to list the top nine ways to get out of debt, look somewhere else. I may give you ideas from experts on how to get out of debt, but I’ll try to make them more substantial than a list of nine things to do.
For better or worse, this blog won’t be like many other blogs that detail how to get out of debt. I don’t have major debt such as thousands of dollars in credit card bills, and I haven’t had to dig myself out of such a hole.
What I’ll attempt to do is add some context to a personal finance topics with personal stories and expert advice (from real experts, not simply me, a writer) that will help you learn how to be smart with your money.
I’ve been a journalist all of my professional life. I’ve worked as reporter and editor at newspapers and websites. If you want to learn more about my professional background, go to my website, AaronCrowe.net, where you can find my portfolio and more information to decide if you’d like me to write or edit for your website.
If it isn’t obvious already, I should disclose that I’m not a financial adviser. If you want professional financial advice, find an accountant, financial planner or other expert you’ve worked with. The advice offered at CashSmarter.com is meant to help, obviously, but also to entertain. Seek professional help in your money decisions. My opinions are my own.
